Innovative Design / Printing for battery for the first time. Over 160 Million units sold all over India. Large presence in the Hindi belt (Shakti) Brand PowerCell - Introduction of troach, lamps, blubs, cfls, tubelights, etc. Complex packaging - from single units to bulk
APPS: DIKSHA, eJP, Mozhigal, FinAkshar, etc.
All together these apps have over a billion views. the issues the team worked with were scale, pan India access, langauges, etc. DIKSHA was designed in over 20 Indian langauges. Also the right to left readabliity.
COMAT (logo): e-governance (Karnataka) Namma Service - idea being, pan india usage - Apna Service / Apado Service, etc, 6000 Kiosk in Hobalis (one in every six village) Low cost - both in terms of material & maintenance, Local labour and Material - tried a knock down version, Durable - too expensive to repair, Trust from the villagers - learnt that villagers generally distrust city folks :-), glass, facades seem to make them uncomfortable.... Appreciation from World Bank - they felt that this design approach was ideal to take to other poor countries
